Just came back from a meeting with my 38 club core members. Another of my Gals is getting married... well another one..
Ever since 2006,I have been striking out the name by name from my "Spinister" List.
So terrible, they nv spared a thought for my pocket. OH YA! During the same period, I received invitation cards for baby's Full month Celebration too...

" Dear Sweethearts, kindly watch ur pace! my heart is weak n my wallet is going on a slimming programme! "

Sometimes , I do wonder why God placed a big grp of 打死不离的姐妹掏 in my life? A blessing or... Im sure it's a blessing, in fact this is one of the best gifts from the LORD above.haahah

Enjoyed Driving the Bridesmaid BUT!! something dangerous happened that night. When we left the dinner, having all 6 gals n a guy in car as n we were about to leave the carpark, the GUY next to me saw the Door Warning Light came on... MEANING- someone didn't close the DOOR properly! EVERYONE was panic checking the doors, as the impatient car drivers behind were horning at us! The WORST thing was, I was still busied looking for my cashcard and i JUST could not find it! Thank GOD , Clarence ( the guy beside me) found my cashcard , I think he's the calmest person in the car then and Guess WAT! He FOUND out that I WAS THE ONE who didn't Shut my DOOR properly! 我的娘!!好丢脸!!
Thinking back on that incident! I REALLY thank GOD that nothing serious happened! Becos', My friends n I hadn't Received CHRIST yet!!! ARGHHHHh!!!!

YES! Me again!!! hhaahahhaah I thought that this time round the whole journey would be smooth, Guess Wat!!! God proved me WRONG!
That was the earliest wedding I ever attended. 3am in the morning, the Bridegroom's car has arrived. After picking up the bride, everyone headed to the carpark . Drivers including me, started moving off and headed towards the exit of the carpark. hmmm that time, I was driving a sedan ( thought smaller car, safer... hmmm), seating next to me was the Videographer ( bride's friend his name is Jacky, YUP It's a guy AGAIN) and behind were another bridesmaid n one bestman ( don't quite rem his face).
It was Too dark in the morning (I m not pushing the blame ok haha!!)and i lost the cars in front of me!! I need to Confess! I didn't pray before I started the engine. I missed the exit, so i went to take a Uturn at a BIG open space. Sigh... Tragic happened. As i was doing the reversing, in mind that the SPACE WAS BIG, i made a fast one.
"PANG!!" I HIT IT.. THAT'S IT !
Complete Silence ....
"Hmm well.. it's okay! let's move on! " that was what I said. I hope I put it out well throughout... i just didn't want to ruin my Gal's wedding day...Most of them went up to the hse with the couple, and Jacky helped me to check the car in the dark and he told me that he couldn't really spot the damage." Wow!! REaLLY" that was what i thought.
But when the Sun came up... I faced the Fact! ( Damage cost was paid by the Wedding couple!! Praise the Lord that I have Generous friends)

Dashed for last morning Sunday Service AGAIN ... sigh...reached coffeebean@singpost at ard 8 14am, Pastor Laiyien and Brother Caleb had started the prayer meeting.

Everything started not right for me that Sabbath day, I was kinda " stOne ". Knowing that the fact that I didn't really prepare my heart to meet the Lord, made me even more 心虚 when i came down for service.

(A BIG YES)... my heart had hardened.

Many countless times, I had underestimated God's Grace. Silly thought like, " I feel so unworthy to ask God for forgiveness in this area of me, simply becos i have done it so many times!" and " Will The LORD ... this n that... blar blar..." these thoughts will just crawl in my mind without knowing it (ESP!!! PMS period). <---This is the end result if I didn't let my mind to fill with God's word instantaneously whenever the MOMENT i discharge the rubbish in my mind.

The Armor of God

Ephesians 6:11 says " Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes...... v13 therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of the evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. .............. v17 The helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

(Helmet - designed to protect the head <---- Get a durable one.)

God knows us the best! He knows we need a Helmet! muhahahaha

Had a VERY long talk with Sister Iris, after our 300 meeting outside Singpost Delifrance. Same time Same place Same table and Same seat but different topic. Her kopi n my Persi (super ex $2.15) lasted us for 4 hours... 4 hrs of chatting without any quiet moment, we just poured out out thoughts n hearts... hmmm that duration could actually bring us from Singapore to INDIA! I can say this Spiritual sister of mine, really someone values friendship highly. I admire her Depth yet always wanting to tell her that too deep will 'GANNA' poisoned hahah. It's always good to share deeply as we will feel the strength/love of God when he Lifts us up.

Many times, the things n thoughts she brings forward have seemed to be a reminder to me from Lord. Just like I remember there was once i told her a story about the river in each heart. I illustrate that there's a river in our hearts needs to be cleansed constantly. If we are not watchful and just leave it aside without taking care of it, definitely the kingdom of 伊蚊 will reign! hahah The worst part is, due to the impurity of our rivers, it Brings Harm to the pple living near it. It could be our words, intentions or thoughts that are not being cleansed by God. 简称 : 累人累己。In result, the Dengue Fever test will turn out Positive! - The simplest yet the hardest thing we can do, it's to PRAY ABOUT IT. But i rem i asked her, " Lastly, do u ALLOW him to Cleanse you thoroughly?"

This time round, she's the one to asking this qtn, " So, have you allowed Him to cleanse you?" And it took me awhile to realise that, THAT was what i told her before... We are forgetful creatures, we tend to forget what God has given. At the end of the day, the qtn i asked myself " Have i allowed Him? why didn't I ? and what if i didn't?" I DON't want to taste the Fruits of Disobedience!

Throughout the bible, it's has been clearly shown to us THAT there are the consequences of disobedience that we ought to bear. We also need to realize that God's judgments are sure. Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Sin may be forgiven, but someone always suffers the consequences of any sin. David is one of the most significant cases. He committed adultery and murder, and was forgiven, but he and his house suffered.

Underlying knowledge (Reminder): Regardless of who or what contributed to my apostasy, at the end of my life, I have to face death and the judgment of God alone.

On my way back home just now, i saw many children were playing with Sparklers, candles and holding lanterns. The actual day will be on the coming Tues 25 sept. But many kids have started playing over the weekend. That scenario reminded me of the many Lanterns festivals celebrations I had in the past(with my childhood playmate).

In the past 7 to 8 years, I would have the celebration @ punggol park with my 38 club members faithfully.

That was one of my favourite verse in the bible. I believe that the LORD wants me to go through all these seasons of my life that He has planned for me even before I was conceived in my mother's womb, simply because He LOVES me... ~ The Key word is - Relationship

Looking at the time, it's 0408am Saturday, September 22, 2007. Wow, I'm still at my active mode! Though I'm physically tired, the spirit in me is working relentlessly.(Just can't help it, GOd is in the House yo!) Had a fruitful cg meeting at Andrew's plc (Purvis Street). Shared many with Brother Caleb and 6 of us went for supper after Cg meeting @ a HK cafe ( hmmm so ' Gong' of me, didn't look at the name of the cafe) along Liang Seah Street. It's a nice CHeena plc for coffee and tim sum, and the TV was showing a movie played by one of my fav actors ~ '周爷- 周星驰. hahahah BTW the 6 of us were - Caleb+Laiyien+Joanne+Chin Hao+Andrew+ ME.

In the midst of suppering, I received a sms from May( Nafa friend), saying that there will be a LAST minute gathering tomorrow. In fact right now I'm kinda excited towards this gathering, yet I know i'm gonna miss it. I truly miss my nafa friends- May, Alvin, Rhiannon, Penny, Jia Jun <-- my fav boy, Tu Zi, mela, Yingx2, huix2, Dhorqus, Desmine and Debbie. At the same time, i was on the phone with Alvin, I must say that i really really miss those days when Me n this Brother shared our hearts deeply abt Friendships, meanings of life,our dreams, hopes, worries, weird thoughts about relationship and many many more... Looking back at those days, I need to make a shoutout that is, " WE WERE LEADING AN AIMLESS LIFE". We were chasing after wind. " Brother Alvin, don't you think so?"

I remember Alvin's fav quote- "今朝有酒，今朝醉" " Sometimes, I do agree with this pt in another angle, that we JUST need to grab hold of what we have for today. It's biblical. The verses in book of Matthew 6:25-27 (NLT) says, "v25 That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life - whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing? v26 Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him then they are? v27Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?" - These 3 verses took me abit of time to masticate, actually it's pretty hard for me to not to worry abt tomorrow. Oh well, especially when I know God is in FULL control of everything, that's even harder for me(Surrendering to Him). Back to the part I mentioned abt"今朝有酒，今朝醉" "...just in case you all got me wrong, I wasn't trying to convey the message that you can just DRINK like nobody's biz... But my point is - Just live you life to the fullest today, as if it's the LAST Day of ur LIFE.... BUT!! BUT FIRST of all...We must recognise WHO is the PROVIDER of our life...

Return to the part where I had a deep sharing with Brother Caleb, my Ah Hiah. "Thanks Brother! You are truly a blessing from God. As I always tell you that, I'm amazed by God's divine timing. Praise the Lord that He Placed you at this Season of my life. I don't have a earthly brother, nv had I prayed for a one haha!! Yet By God's mercy, I'm blessed with YOU - my spiritual Brother !! and you are the one ..the First ONE! 你让我尝到兄长的爱。。。<<家>>这个字仿佛重新改写了。Thanks for being there to pray for me, when my heart has grown cold and I thank Jesus for your ears, heart, mind, soul, shoulders and tears during the sharing.

Oh no, it's coming back! Without fail, I will smell the coming of Christmas Season during this month of the year. I guess it's kinda early to welcome the cold raining season, but we can start preparing our hearts for CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!!! simply becos "All Rights Deserved" hahahahaha~~~~

Thank God! that we managed to hold our Christmas Celebration @ Hotel Phoenix (closed for a refurbishment) last year.

Lolx.. I can still remember vividly, those exhilarating moments we had during the Lucky Draw. Every single one was eyeing on the 3 Great Grand prizes (so Aunt-ish), and even the luckydraw event committee members, Peifen n I (YES it's Just TWO of us- super low morale) were praying so hard that we would be the blessed ones!

1st Prize-
TEFAL 3 layered steamcooker
(hahahaha prepared for all wives in my 38 club.)
Took home by - Lee Peiling
( Missy Lee- Yes! she's a nurse in midwifery Dept. of KK Hospital .. hmmm i wonder how she uses that steamcooker... hmmm pretty dangerous...btw she's the one who booked the hotelroom.)

2nd Prize-
Penguin Shaped Waffles Maker
Took home by it's owner - Angela Ng Lee Min (index no.16 during sec sch.)
I must SAY... that was what we hoped for her... becos she loves penguins so much... it's a divine plan by God! hahahaha

3rd Prize-
Acrylic Phone
Took home by - Beth Ong LeHwa ( Mrs Tay- to -be in 2008 congrats!)
My words for you ~ "Well .. Ms Ong, I hope u will use this phone at ur new hse, be a ‘ 贤慧媳妇’ and a noble wife ok!"

Praise the Lord, I am blessed with a new morning by His mercy and love. Just wanna record down how God has spoken to me through His Glory (morning light) that shone upon my face. Lifting up my eyes to the window...

不知何时，已忘了这道曙光。

低低的被照射，让我身陷灌溉之中。

顿时。。。

发现每次的光景非同，把握住的只能藏在善忘的记忆里。

层层回忆被勾起，感觉------今非昔日。

之下能解的，则是爱过领悟过期待过。

明天的圣光是否在我举目时，记得我、怜恤我？
